My Ph.D. dissertation is in energy policy, discussing the transition towards a low carbon electricity market in Israel. In my current research, I explore the water-energy-food nexus using an Agrivoltaic demonstration site, collaborating with Arizona University in the US. I research the assimilation of low-carbon technologies and sustainable local solutions for water scarcity and clean energy production. I am highly interested in off-grid systems that can provide a holistic solution to areas lacking electricity and water infrastructures and that can significantly improve the quality of life in developing countries.
Projects:
Agrivoltaic, exploring the nexus: water-energy-food – dual use of land for food production and electricity generation from PV Storage solutions in the Arava region
