  • Development of biotechnological processes for enhanced productivity of microalgae as a source for biofuels.<\/li>
  • Using microbial mats as a biofilter for aquaculture effluents and as a source for fish feed.<\/li>
  • The isolation, identification and the assessment of crude oil decomposition capabilities, under various abiotic conditions, of soil bacteria taken from the 1975 Ein Evrona oil spill.<\/li><\/ul>
